Happy new year! There are lots of celebrations going on this weekend and CISC will be closed on Thursday for the new year (February 7).The Seattle Chinatown/International District Business Improvement District will be holding its annual new year's celebration at Union Station February 9 and 10. Come and visit the Sunshine Garden seniors at their booth as they demonstrate traditional Chinese crafts and calligraphy.
Also this weekend is the Great Wall Shopping Mall's celebration in Kent. Enjoy music, dance, vendor booths, food, and much, much more. All proceeds raised from this event will go to benefit CISC's International Family Center-Kent.
If you're there on Saturday, please drop by the center and see what's going on! We're located at the north end of the mall, to the left of 99 Ranch Market.
